about

Compiled here is HED's Drool 7" plus 2 previously unreleased songs, remixed and remastered. Originally recorded by Thom Monahan in the infamous Brookfield "House of 4-tracks" cellar. Released in 1991 Drool received a few rave reviews for it's "Joy Division meets Sonic Youth" sound, and actually charted on a few college stations.

Note: this is the "PsychoPunkadelic" band HED, from Danbury CT. A scene so fertile in the early 90's that, in a quote from Rolling Stone Magazine, Thurston Moore referred to it as "The next Seattle" . Although Danbury never reached that notoriety, it has been a breading ground of original music, spawning such great acts as HED, Monsterland, Gnu Fuz and many more.
